About Romco Builders
The contractor behind Romco Demolition
Romco Demolition is how Romco Builders, a licensed Florida general contractor run from Fort Lauderdale since 2015, takes buildings down.

Building is the business; demolition is usually its first phase. We give it the same treatment as any other phase, with a written scope, a sequence, a budget and a plan for the trade that follows.
Scale never stops us from pricing a job. A single partition, a cracked pool, a Hutchinson Island condo interior or a full building all begin with the site, the neighbors, the live services and the checklist of whichever office issues the permit.
Certain ground work never leaves our hands. Romco self-performs dewatering, deep foundations and Support of Excavation, which is the engineered shoring that keeps the walls of a deep dig from moving, including on tidal ground.

Straight statements about our work
- Romco Builders holds a Florida general contractor license. You receive the license details with the quote.
- Prices are not published. Every job is priced from a visit, photos or drawings.
- Finish dates are not promised. Permit review, the state's ten-working-day asbestos notice and utility releases are outside our control, so the plan shows each step and what it depends on.
- Licensed consultants carry out asbestos surveys and licensed abatement firms do the removal. We arrange and schedule them but hold neither license.
